I recently fell prey to one of those localised time surges and it has brought up memories of more recent - or I suppose they are recent now - events around Mondstadt.
I seem to recall hearing tell of a famous Inazuman samurai getting drunk on wine and falling asleep at a table in the Angel's Share. Apparently he spent the night there. The funny thing is, this famous samurai matched your description down to the last detail.

And that's partly my own influence, but the grapes themselves have a natural sweetness unrivalled anywhere else in Teyvat. Father would joke that Barbatos looked kindly on the vineyard, and that so many anemo crystalflies between the vines made the fruit sweeter.

They don't exactly. The device was terribly broken. They had planned to abandon it but it drove the researcher's companions delirious.
I don't regret the experiences I had, no matter the cause of them. It helped bring more clarity to thoughts I've had recently and brought me closer to my new friends.
